SCOUTING ST. THOMAS
- This will be the second time both teams are set to compete and their first time competing at the Schoenecker Arena. In their first meeting, the Flames fended off the Tommies in a 75-71 overtime win in front of a home crowd at Credit Union 1 Arena on Nov. 27, 2022.
- Senior Ky-Dempsey Toney (Franklin, N.J./Franklin) led the Flames with 19 points in 19 minutes. Graduate student Sara Zabrecky (Munster, Ind./Munster/St. John's) sank three three-pointers in the win.
- The Tommies have been off to a stellar start, collecting wins against Crown College, Milwaukee, Northern Illinois, Oakland and most recently Macalester in an 84-43 victory this past Monday at home. The Tommies sit in second in The Summit League after sporting a 5-2 record in the first month of non-conference play.
- Senior Jo Langbehn has been the Tommies top scorer this season, averaging 17.7 points per game, ranking her third in the Summit League.
LAST GAME RECAP – VERSUS NORTHERN ILLINOIS
- The Flames secured their first win of the season Wednesday night, defeating Northern Illinois (3-3) on the road, 69-66.
- In her first game of the season, senior Jalysa Stokes (Joliet, Ill./Joliet Central/USML) went off with 17 points with four three pointers across 27 minutes of play.
- Senior Makiyah Williams (Chicago, Ill./Trinity/Marquette) netted 15 points, grabbed three rebounds and one assist in the win.
- Graduate student Keimari Rimmer (Chicago, Ill./Proviso East/DePaul) scored 13 points and grabbed five rebounds in 20 minutes of play.
- The Flames collected its seventh consecutive win over the Huskies, dating back to Nov. 2010.
