CHICAGO (Aug. 28, 2024) – The UIC men's soccer team (1-1-0, 0-0-0 MVC) hits the road for the first time in the regular season this week, as the Flames travel to Madison, Wis. For a showdown with Wisconsin (2-0-0, 0-0-0 B1G) Thursday night. Kick-off is set for 7:30 p.m. CT and can be seen live with a paid subscription to B1G+. Fans can also access up to the minute stats for the match using this link.

FIRST WIN OF THE YEAR
The Flames earned their first victory of the 2024 regular season on Sunday, as they closed out their two-match home stand with a 4-2 win over Green Bay. Bart Muns (Amsterdam, Netherlands/Santa Barbara CC) was the hero for UIC, as his go-ahead tally with less than 12 minutes remaining proved to be the match-winner and earned him his third brace in his two seasons with the Flames.

SERIES NOTES
While the Badgers hold the all-time series advantage 6-3 over UIC, the Flames most recently got the best of Wisconsin a season ago, taking a 2-0 victory in Chicago on Sept. 4, 2023.

UP NEXT
The Flames will return home following Thursday's match in Madison and prepare for a Labor Day showdown against Northwestern at Flames Field. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT for that match and it will also be shown on ESPN+.
