CHICAGO (Sept. 11, 2024) – The UIC men's soccer team (2-3-0, 0-0-0 MVC) returns to Flames Field this week, as it will host the first two of a three-match home stand. The stretch begins with a Thursday night clash with Loyola (1-2-1, 0-0-0 A-10) under the lights, and the Flames will close the week with a Sunday night showdown with Marquette (3-2-1, 0-0-0 Big East), UIC's final non-conference home match of the season. Both matches can be seen live on ESPN+, and live stats will also be available.
 
FLAMES FACTS
The Flames, riding the momentum of a 1-0 victory over Oakland on the road last Friday, return home to Flames Field this week, where they hold a 9-3-1 overall record in the last two seasons. In its three home matches this season, UIC has tallied seven total goals for an average of 2.33 per match. 
 
SERIES NOTES
UIC holds a 18-15-4 advantage all-time against Loyola, while Marquette holds a 4-5-1 all-time lead over the Flames.

UIC will close out its three-match home stand next week, as it opens Missouri Valley Conference play on Saturday, Sept. 21 against Missouri State.
