CHICAGO (Oct. 16, 2025) – On the heels of the recently-announced 2025-26 UIC men's and women's basketball schedules, single-game tickets for the upcoming Flames basketball campaigns at Credit Union 1 Arena are now on sale. UIC consistently lives up to its deserved reputation as Chicago's College Team, with some of the most affordable family entertainment anywhere in the Windy City.

The UIC men will play 14 home games this season, including matchups with Bradley, Drake, Illinois State and Southern Illinois, while the Flames' women have 16 regular-season games scheduled for the friendly confines of Credit Union 1 Arena, highlighted by marquee non-conference home games with Big Ten Conference member Wisconsin, Chicagoland rivals DePaul and Loyola, plus another challenging Missouri Valley Conference schedule. There will also be three doubleheaders on the UIC basketball calendar this season (Nov. 3, Dec. 17 and Dec. 29), giving fans the unique opportunity to catch both Flames programs on the same day!

The full 2025-26 UIC men's basketball schedule can be found here, while the Flames' women's basketball schedule is listed here. Tipoff times, game promotions/giveaways and broadcast information for both programs will be released shortly.

UIC is beginning its second season under head coach Rob Ehsan, and fourth as an MVC member, following a solid showing in 2024-25 when the Flames finished with a 17-14 record and tied for fifth place in the conference standings. Under Ehsan's leadership, UIC also had its best regular-season winning percentage (.567) since 2004 and picked up four Quad 1-2 wins (second-best in the Valley). What's more, the Flames posted five wins over teams that competed in the postseason, including victories over Drake, Yale, Bradley and Illinois State, and they produced UIC's second-highest scoring offense (76.0 ppg. – fourth in MVC) in the past 30 years.

Ashleen Bracey has taken UIC women's basketball to new heights in her first three years as head coach, leading the Flames to back-to-back-to-back postseason tournament appearances including WNIT berths the past two seasons. Last year, Bracey helped UIC to a 15-win campaign and a seventh-place MVC finish before claiming the program's first-ever WNIT win with an opening-round victory over UAB in front of a tremendous crowd at Credit Union 1 Arena.
