NORMAL, Ill.– The UIC volleyball team (7-6, 1-2 MVC) couldn't sustain its momentum Thursday night, falling in four sets to Illinois State (7-8, 2-1 MVC) in Missouri Valley Conference play at CEFCU Arena.
Senior
Ayat Amin led the Flames with 12 kills, while junior
Gabi Peter and sophomore
Antonie Kelnárová added eight apiece. Senior setter
Francesca Venturini recorded a double-double with 18 assists and 13 digs.
