CHICAGO – The UIC swimming and diving team is set for a multi-meet weekend here at Flames Natatorium.
 
After only the men's program hosts Ball State at 4 p.m. (CT) on Friday, both the men's and women's teams will be in action to welcome IU-Indy on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. (CT) to Flames Natatorium. Admission is free to the public, with live results available on the Meet Mobile app on Android and Apple, social media or UICFlames.com.
 
 
FLAMES FACTS - BALL STATE

• This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the Flames and Cardinals. They last met a season ago on Oct. 12, 2024, with UIC winning 156.5-143.5.
• In the meet last season, senior  Harrison Nolan swept the diving events, scoring 338.55 points in the one-meter and 361.20 in the three-meter. Junior James McCarthy won the 200  breaststroke (2:08.03) and the 200 individual medley (1:56.05).

• This will be the fourth meeting for the men and sixth meeting for the women against IU-Indy. The men lost their last meeting against the Jaguars 116-127 on Jan. 12, 2019 while the women won 176.5-123.5 on Jan. 11, 2020.

DUAL MEET RECAP - ILLINOIS STATE
 

• The women's team defeated Illinois State 221-78 in a dominant showing.
• Sophomore Georgina Bell won the 100 backstroke (57.33), 200 backstroke (2:03.49), 200 freestyle relay (1:35.51) and 400 medley relay (3:53.68). Bell earned MVC Women's Swimmer of the Week honors for her performance.
• Senior Kerry-Leigh Morrison swept the diving competitions scoring 262.13 in the one-meter and 283.43 in the three-meter.
