EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The UIC volleyball team (14-7, 8-3 MVC) picked up its seventh straight-set win of the season Halloween night, earning a Missouri Valley Conference road victory over Evansville (6-17, 2-9 MVC).
Junior
Gabi Peter led the Flames with nine kills and four blocks, while seniors
Ayat Amin and
Cleo Lorenzo added eight and seven kills, respectively. Redshirt sophomore
Hannah Ditsworth anchored the defense at the net, tallying a team-high nine blocks in the victory.

- UIC's six-match winning streak is the longest win streak for the program, and the longest since the 2022 season.
- After the win over Evansville, UIC has four sweeping victories against MVC opponents, previously collecting straight-set wins against Bradley (10-13, 4-7 MVC) and a pair of wins against Southern Illinois (10-15, 4-7 MVC).
- Ditsworth's nine-block performance puts her at a team-leading 70 blocks in the season. Averaging 1.37 blocks per set, she leads The Valley.
- After her eight kills in the win, Amin becomes the first member of the Flames to eclipse 200 kills, having 201 kills in the season.
