CHICAGO – The UIC swimming and diving program embarks on its 2025-26 season Friday afternoon when they face off against Southern Illinois at the Flames Natatorium in a Missouri Valley Conference match-up. Admission is free to fans who attend.

MEN
- The Flames placed fourth in their first season competing in the MVC last season, with two individual champions.
- The swimmers return junior James McCarthy who won the 200 breaststroke MVC title last season.
- Senior Harrison Nolan heads the diving team, winning both the one-meter and three-meter MVC events en route to earning MVC Diver of the Year accolades.
