CHICAGO — The No. 4 UIC volleyball team (17–10, 11–5 MVC) battled deep into a decisive fifth set in Wednesday afternoon's quarterfinal at the 2025 Missouri Valley Conference Volleyball Championship, ultimately coming up short to No. 5 Illinois State (14–15, 8-8 MVC), 3–2.
Sophomore
Antonie Kelnárová led the match with 18 kills and 11 digs. Senior
Ayat Amin added 12 kills, seven digs and seven blocks. Redshirt sophomore
Hannah Ditsworth and senior
Julieta Sandez combined for 17 blocks to anchor the Flames defensively.
