DES MOINES, Iowa – For the second consecutive night, the UIC volleyball team (15-9, 9-5 MVC) pushed into the fifth set before falling to Drake (14-11, 10-4 MVC), 3-2 at the Knapp Center to close out its final Missouri Valley Conference road trip of the season.
Sophomore
Antonie Kelnárová recorded 20 kills and 12 digs. Senior
Ayat Amin added 16 kills with seven blocks, while
Cleo Lorenzo tallied 13 kills and 14 digs. Redshirt sophomore
Hannah Ditsworth led all players with a match-high 14 blocks at the net.

- Ditsworth's 14 blocks set a new career-high, surpassing her previous mark of 10 blocks from the win over Murray State (4-19, 2-12 MVC) earlier this season.
- Lorenzo closed the weekend with back-to-back double-doubles in kills and digs, bringing her season total to seven.
- Amin's 16 kills marked her 13th double-digit kill performance of the season.
- With one week remaining in conference play, the Flames move into the fourth seed in the MVC standings. The top six teams will advance to compete for the MVC Championship in two weeks.
