CHICAGO (Feb. 28, 2025) – In a fiercely competitive match against Indiana, the UIC women's tennis team battled hard throughout the day, showcasing their resilience against a top-tier Big Ten opponent. Although the final result did not go in their favor, the Flames proved that every point was hard fought—especially in the doubles point and the closely contested singles matches that followed.
Head coach Elizabeth Robinson had high praise for the team's performance, saying,
"We were right in there with a Big Ten team. The score does not reflect how close our doubles point and the remaining matches were. We look forward to using the lessons learned today as we attack the last few matches of our non-conference schedule."
Despite the setback, the team is focused on growth and improvement, determined to build on today's experience as they prepare for upcoming challenges. The Flames remain optimistic, ready to bounce back stronger in the remainder of the season.
