Flames Roll Past Ball State in Regular Season Finale

Men's Tennis Wins 5-2 to conclude 2025 regular season

MUNCIE, Ind. — The UIC men's tennis program history on Sunday, defeating Ball State 5–2 to clinch the Mid-American Conference Regular Season Runner-Up spot and secure its first-ever berth in the MAC Tournament.

The Flames (16-5, 7-3) came out strong in doubles, with Pedro Franca and Eldin Nokic cruising to a 6–1 win at the No. 1 position. Although Ball State took No. 2 doubles and the No. 3 matchup went unfinished, UIC responded with grit in singles.

Eldin Nokic led the charge with a straight-set victory at No. 2. Milos Mikovic, Mihailo Savic, and Simon Knezevic each picked up big wins in the middle of the lineup, while Emil Dapcevic closed out the match with a dominant 6–1, 6–1 performance at No. 6.

UIC's victory was its 16th of the season, its most regular season wins since at least the 1999-00 season.
