COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA) announced its yearly All-American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year recipients, with
Keimari Rimmer,
Chantrel "Tutu" Clayton,
Preston Huitron and
James Harris being recognized. The NCSA award program recognizes those collegiate and high school athletes whose athletic accomplishments reflect their dedication to strength training and conditioning. The four Flames hail from three separate sports at UIC with women's basketball, men's soccer and baseball being represented.
The athletes are nominated by UIC Head Sports Performance Coach
David Marmon, with their determination to improve in athletics while maintaining academic prominence being a great model for all student-athletes at UIC.
