CHICAGO (July 23, 2026) – A new basketball season is on the horizon, and UIC fans can secure their seats for another exciting year of Flames basketball when 2026-27 men's and women's basketball season tickets go on sale Monday morning.
Â
Fans will once again enjoy an outstanding home slate at Credit Union 1 Arena, highlighted by men's basketball matchups against Charlotte, Robert Morris, Canisius, UNC Greensboro and Chicago State (with additional home games to be announced within the next month), while the women's team welcomes Northwestern, Ball State, Lindenwood and Chicago State. Those games complement another challenging Missouri Valley Conference schedule that culminates with the first combined Arch Madness (MVC Tournament) March 3-7 in St. Louis.
Â
Season tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. (CT) Monday and can be purchased online through Ticketmaster, or by contacting the UIC Athletics Ticket Office (312-413-UIC1;Â
athleticsticketing@uic.edu). As a reminder — all UIC students are admitted

Under third-year head coach
Rob Ehsan, the Flames have emerged as one of the Missouri Valley Conference's rising programs. Over the past two seasons, UIC has won 36 games, posted consecutive winning seasons for the first time since 2008-09, reached its first-ever Arch Madness championship game and earned its first NIT berth since 2003.
Â
With the Missouri Valley Conference's most experienced returning roster — including five regular starters — the Flames enter 2026-27 with high hopes. Sophomore standouts
Andy Johnson,
Rashund Washington Jr. and
Jayce Nathaniel headline a talented core alongside veterans
Ahmad Henderson II and
Mekhi Lowery, while an exciting incoming class adds even more depth and versatility.
Â
Under head coach
Ashleen Bracey, UIC women's basketball has established itself among the Missouri Valley Conference's top programs. The Flames have reached the postseason three times in four seasons and have totaled 66 victories during that span, the program's second-highest four-year win total.

Returning All-MVC standout
Julia Coleman joins veterans
