CHICAGO (Sept. 18, 2025) – The UIC Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Marquee Sports Network have signed a deal that will result in seven Flames' athletic contests during the 2025-26 academic year being televised live across six Midwestern states through the Chicago-based regional sports network.

"We are thrilled to partner with Marquee Sports Network to showcase UIC Athletics on such a prominent stage," said UIC Director of Athletics Andrea Williams. "This agreement not only provides greater visibility for our student-athletes and programs, but it also allows us to connect with fans across Chicago and throughout the Midwest. As Chicago's College Team, we are excited to share the energy and excellence of Flames athletics with an even broader audience."

Three of the seven games in this year's UIC-Marquee Sports Network package have been determined:

  • Oct. 7 – Volleyball vs. Valparaiso (Credit Union 1 Arena)
  • Nov. 19 – Women's basketball vs. Wisconsin (Credit Union 1 Arena)
  • Dec. 17 – Women's basketball vs. DePaul (Credit Union 1 Arena)

Four other UIC games will be broadcast during the 2025-26 season, including at least one men's basketball game and a mix of additional Flames' winter and spring sports contests. All seven games will be produced by UIC Athletics through its broadcasting unit, led by Associate Athletics Director for Brand Strategy & Broadcasting Phil Bergman.

Marquee Sports Network was founded in 2020 as a partnership between Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs and the Sinclair Broadcast Group, and it is available on more than 60 cable and streaming providers, including Xfinity/Comcast, DirecTV, AT&T, Hulu, Fubo, Mediacom and Spectrum.
