CHICAGO – The UIC Women's tennis team opened its fall campaign with a strong showing at the 2025 Redbird Invitational this past weekend.

Freshman Joanne Hartono made an immediate impact in her collegiate debut, capturing the Flight 7 singles title.  In doubles play, the sophomore pairing of Edit Cosmo and Dongkeke Liu battled through the field to secure a third-place finish in Flight 1 doubles.
