CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team is set to start their 2026 season this Sunday against Northwestern in Evanston, Ill. The Wildcats already have three matches under their belt, boasting a record of 3-0. This will be UIC's first taste of competition this spring.

The Flames will look to build off a successful fall campaign that saw strong performances from multiple players, including Freshman Joanne Hartono along with Sophomores Edit Cosmo and Dongkeke Liu. UIC heads into this season with plenty of momentum and looks to capitalize off that against the Wildcats on Sunday.
