CHICAGO - UIC women's tennis welcomes Fordham and Roosevelt to Chicago for a pair of weekend matches. Saturday's match against Fordham will be played at H-F Racquet & Fitness Club while Sunday's match with Roosevelt is at XS Tennis Village. Fordham will enter competition on Saturday holding a 2-6 record while Roosevelt has gotten off to an undefeated 4-0 start. Last time out the Flames split their two weekend matches against Toledo and Notre Dame.
While Roosevelt is a familiar foe, this will serve as the first ever match up between UIC and Fordham. When they met last year UIC shutout Roosevelt winning 7-0. In that match, all six singles matches were won by players on the current team, including current Seniors Anaïs Brion and Paula Rodriguez Gregoris.
