MURRAY, KY. – On their second stop of a Missouri Valley Conference road-trip, the UIC women's basketball team (11-13, 6-7 MVC) is set to take on Murray State (21-3, 12-1 MVC) in a 1 p.m. (CT) match-up at the CFSB Center Sunday afternoon.

SCOUTING MURRAY STATE
- This will be the eighth meeting between the programs, with the Racers holding a 5-2 advantage in the all-time series. Since joining the MVC, the Flames have won two of the past four matchups.
- Murray State leads the MVC during conference play with a 12-1 record and enters the matchup having won five straight games against Valley opponents.
- The Racers are coming off a 95-69 victory over Valparaiso at home Friday night. Murray State was paced by juniors Halli Poock (26 points) and Haven Ford (25 points).
- Poock (21.3 PPG) and junior Sharnecce Currie-Jelks (18.3 PPG) rank first and second in the MVC in scoring this season.
LAST GAME OUT – AT BELMONT
- The Flames battled it out against Belmont (15-9, 11-2 MVC) Friday night, falling short the Bruins, 71-56.
- Senior Jessica Carrothers led all scorers with 24 points, dished out a team-leading five assists and grabbed four rebounds. The guard has scored 20-plus points over nine contests this season for the Flames.
- Earning her fourth consecutive double-double, redshirt sophomore Julia Coleman scored 10 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
- Redshirt freshman Magdalena Winter scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds in 34 minutes of play.
