ATLANTA – The UIC Diving program will be represented by senior
Harrison Nolan at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga. Friday, in the three-meter event. Nolan is believed to be the first Flame to ever qualify for the NCAA Championships. The meet will be available to be followed on
Divemeets.com or watched on
ESPN+.

QUALIFICATION STANDARD
To qualify for the NCAA National Championship in Zone C, a diver must place in the top 10 during the NCAA Zone C competition. Nolan placed sixth at the NCAA Zone C competition, qualifying him for the NCAA Championship.
Prelims will begin at 11 a.m. (CT) for the NCAA Championships, if Nolan places in the top eight, he will qualify for the event finals, taking place at 5 p.m. on Friday night. If Nolan places ninth-16th he will qualify for consolation finals, also taking place on Friday night.
NOLAN SEASON RECAP
Nolan has had a banner year this season for the Flames as he has, won the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in the three-meter event, broke two MVC Championship meet records in the one-meter and three-meter, broke the overall MVC record for one-meter event, earned All-MVC First Team for both boards, was named MVC Diver of the Year, was named MVC Diver of the Week four times and is the first UIC athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
