CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team will begin their Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) title defense when they open conference play with a pair of matches this weekend. The Flames face off with Bradley (4-8) on Saturday and Illinois State (11-4) on Sunday. Both matches are scheduled for 12:00 pm at XS Tennis Village.
On Wednesday UIC defeated Holy Cross (Ind.) 7-0. This was their first match in nearly three weeks. Edit Cosmo, Anais Brion, Charlotte Deletioglu, and Paula Rodriguez Gregoris all captured singles victories against the Saints.
