CHICAGO - Edit Cosmo of UIC women's tennis has been named the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Singles Player of the Week following an undefeated 3-0 week. Cosmo won in two sets against all three opponents, the final two against Bradley and Illinois State to help propel the Flames to a 2-0 start in MVC play. This is the second conference accolade the Flames have claimed this year with Dongke Liu winning Singles Player of the Week for the week of March 1st.

The Flames are back in action on Friday on the road morning against Valparaiso.
