CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team lost a pair of matches to strong opponents.The Flames battled on Friday night against Depaul before losing 4-0. Despite the score the match was tightly contested. Marta Halbersztadt took her singles match to a third set before the Blue Demons clinched the match.
On Sunday UIC fell short against Northern Illinois by a score of 6-1. Once again it was a very close match, three of six singles matches went to three sets.Â
The Flames will have a break from competition before returning to action on March 28 against Bradley.Â
