CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team will hit the road this weekend for a pair of conference matches. The Flames currently sit atop the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) standings with their 3-0 conference record (10-6 overall). They will face off with Belmont (2-15, 1-3 MVC) on Saturday at 9:00 AM and Murray State (7-9, 3-1 MVC) on Sunday at 12:00 PM. The match with Murray State could prove to be pivotal at the end of conference play as the Racers are currently tied for second in the MVC, and won the regular season title last season. 

Last time out the Flames were victorious over Valparaiso 5-2. Senior's Anais Brion and Paula Rodriguez Gregoris have both played a crucial role in the Flames undefeated start to MVC play with 3-0 singles records. With a big weekend looming, the senior duo will look to continue their strong play.
