CHICAGO - The UIC women's tennis team (9-6, 2-0 MVC) will look to continue their strong start to Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) play when they travel to Valparaiso (10-5, 0-2 MVC) for a Thursday morning match. UIC is coming off victories over Bradley and Illinois State last weekend, while the Beacons have played the same opponents and were winless.

The Flames will look for reigning MVC Singles Player of the Week Edit Cosmo to continue her hot stretch. The sophomore was 3-0 at No.1 singles last week to lead the Flames. When UIC and Valparaiso met last year the Flames won 7-0. Cosmo, Nia Cooper, and Anais Brion all won their respective singles match against the Beacons. The match is set to begin at 9:00 AM on Friday.
