CHICAGO (July 10, 2026) – After a sold-out June College Prep Camp, UIC men's soccer head coach Sean Phillips is offering a second Sean Phillips Soccer Summer College Prep Camp this summer. The one-day camp will take place July 28 on the UIC campus and registration is now underway.

"The Sean Phillips Soccer College Prep Camp at UIC is a great opportunity to welcome talented soccer players to our beautiful campus and show them everything UIC and Chicago have to offer," Phillips said. "The athletes will be exposed to our training methods and will also get the chance to work with other fantastic coaches from the area."

The College Prep Camp is designed for high school, junior college or four-year transfer prospective soccer student-athletes who aspire to play soccer at the collegiate level. Six of the 28 members on UIC's 2025 fall roster were initially identified at one of the College Prep Camps.

Each camper will receive instruction and evaluation from members of the UIC men's soccer coaching staff, along with additional college coaches. Past camps have been attended by coaches from NCAA Division I, Division II and Division III, as well as the NAIA and junior college levels. A recruiting information session will also be included as part of the camp.
 
Registration for the Sean Phillips Soccer Summer College Prep Camp is open to all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
