Knoppe's Player Bio

Jana Knoppe enters her first season as the Flames volunteer assistant coach after competing as a four-year letterwinner for the Flames from 2010-14.

Knoppe tied the record for all-time singles victories with 92 after producing 20-plus wins each season. In addition to her .742 singles winning percentage, Knoppe owned an impeccable 30-2 record against Horizon League opponents with undefeated marks as a sophomore and junior.

In doubles, Knoppe combined for a 55-55 record and posted a 21-7 record against conference opponents.

Knoppe was a three-time Horizon League Player of the Week selection and named the Horizon League Scholar Athlete of the Month in Feb. 2012, in addition to receiving Honor Roll and Academic All-League recognitions.

Knoppe is expected to graduate with a degree in civil engineering in December 2014.
