2019: Appeared in seven games and made two starts ... Called on as a pinch hitter in NCAA Regional contest against Louisville (May 31) ... Started as designated hitter at Kennesaw State (Feb. 16) and at Texas A&M (Feb. 22) ... Drew one walk in each of those games ... Graduated from UIC with a degree in Human Development and Learning in May.

2018: Made three relief appearances ... Threw 2.2 IP ... Struck out two ... Appeared in first Horizon League game of season against Wright State (April 7) ... Made season debut with 1.0 scoreless IP vs. Northern Illinois (March 14).

2017: Made four appearances out of the bullpen and one as a pinch hitter ... Threw a scoreless inning of relief with one strikeout at Youngstown State (April 21) ... Threw career-high 21 pitches vs. Viterbo (April 18) ... Struck out the only batter he faced at Northern Illinois (April 11) ... Made pitching debut by striking out both hitters he faced against NIU (March 28) ... Appeared as a pinch hitter vs. Chicago State (March 9).

2016: Only appearance came as a pinch hitter at Texas Southern (Feb. 20).

2015: Was redshirted during the 2015 season and retained four seasons of eligibility.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Two-year letterwinner at Naperville North High School ... named All-DuPage Valley Conference and also a member of the league's All-Academic team ... competed in the Daily Herald Prep Sports Excellence Invite during his senior year ... batted an astounding .360 during his final year at Naperville North, after hitting .290 during his junior campaign ... led the squad in doubles and triples ... son of Frank and Lynn Riley ... Majoring in Human Development and Learning at UIC.
