Your contributions directly support the program and are used for necessities the regular budget is unable to cover. This includes state-of-the-art technology, and an updated kitchen, helping the team train at its most optimal levels.
Support from the UIC Baseball Fund members has helped Flames Baseball achieve a lot of success in recent years under twenty-five-year Assistant and Head Coach Sean McDermott. Your support helps provide a championship experience, both on the field and in the classroom.
“The UIC Baseball program exemplifies the Midwest brand. An accountable blue-collar mentality was ingrained in me as a flame, and continues to be the way I live my life. Our Alumni network has some of the most passionate people in the country, we just needed to find a way to get everyone together. The transition to coach McDermott, Missouri Valley, NIL, etc.. was a good time to push this initiative and it is just getting started. The UIC Baseball Excellence Fund allows each alum to have skin in the game, as we see next-level growth over the next 5-10 years.
