2017: National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-America Third Team selection ...  Horizon League Relief Pitcher of the Year ... Recorded team-high 10 saves, which ranks tied for third for the most in a single season in program history (Ryan Hinchley - 2015) ... Registered seven saves in Horizon League games and two more during the Horizon League Championship tournament ... Did not allow an earned run in 24.1 IP and 17 appearances against conference foes this spring ... Posted a 0.45 ERA in 28 appearances (2 ER/39.2 IP) ... Did not allow an earned run since March 5 at Mizzou ... Ended season with 24.2 consecutive scoreless innings over 18 appearances ... Opponents batted .196 against Averaged 8.03 strikeouts per nine IP with a 2.92 strikeout-to-walk ratio ... Led UIC with 28 appearances, five more than any other pitcher ... PRIOR TO UIC: Attended Jefferson College ... Won six games as a sophomore and posted 47 strikeouts in 55 innings ... Earned one save and had one complete game ... Helped Vikings win 41 games and program's 10^th consecutive MCCAC championship ... Team ranked 18^th in final national NJCAA poll in 2016.
