Recorded five hits on the year, including an RBI double in UIC’s win over Northern Kentucky on May 23.
Added an RBI single earlier in the series against the Norse.
Collected an RBI single against Purdue Fort Wayne on May 15.

Prior to UIC / High School / Personal:

Attended Triton College his first two seasons of college.
Hit .371 in 2019 with six doubles, eight triples and three home runs while earning All-Region honors as a catcher.
Led Nazareth Academy to a State Championship as a sophomore.
Finished third at State as a senior and helped lead the football team to a runner-up finish as a senior.
Baseball team went 34-8 during Grimes' final three seasons in high school.
Son of Bob and Susan Grimes.
Grandfather played at UIC under Les Miller.
Older sister is an All-American volleyball player at Ferris State.
Has a younger sister currently getting recruited by Big Ten schools for volleyball.
Majoring in Public Policy at UIC.
