Played varsity baseball at Cary-Grove High School in Cary, Ill. During his high school career, he was named 3A All-State, selected twice All-Conference.
Grew up rooting for the Chicago White Sox, and his favorite player was Prince Fielder.
Most excited about competing in the game he loves at UIC.
His favorite snack at a baseball game as a fan is either cheese curd or ice cream.
