Muno is currently serving his first season as the Director of Baseball Operations. Prior to UIC, Muno served as an assistant baseball coach at Triton College in River Grove, IL and Maine South High School in Park Ridge, IL, and also coached with the Chicago White Sox Training Academy in Lisle, IL and Windy City Baseball program in Rosemont, IL.
Prior to coaching, Muno worked as a marketing executive in the front offices of the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles, and also at WGN Sports and Navy Pier in Chicago.
Muno played his collegiate baseball at McNeese State University in Louisiana of the NCAA Division I Southland Conference and Iowa Western Community College, while ultimately earning a Masters degree in Sports Management at Western Illinois University.
A native of Wheeling, IL, Muno graduated from Wheeling High School, and currently lives in Park Ridge, IL. He and his wife, Kelly, have four children: Madison, Jack, Taylor and Lexie.
