Wyman joined the UIC coaching ranks as an undergraduate assistant coach and will help Head Coach Mike Dee with the Flames[apos] pitching staff. Wyman just recently completed his eligibility for the Flames this past spring. In his four years at UIC, Wyman, who worked primarily out of the bullpen, posted four wins and four saves in 83 appearances for UIC, which ranks third all-time in program history. In 2011, the left-hander made 30 appearances which ties for fifth all-time and collected all four saves, which ranks tied for 10th in Flames history. For his career, Wyman averaged 9.5 strikeouts per nine innings and on May 22, 2010 he fanned a career-high 10 Valparaiso Crusaders in just five innings of work. 'It[apos]s a little bit of a different experience for me because I played with most of these guys just last season,' said Wyman. 'It[apos]s going to be a good experience and I[apos]m excited. 'I like all the guys on the team. The younger pitchers worked with and listened to me last year, so I[apos]m sure they[apos]ll listen again now that they have to because I[apos]m a coach,' said Wyman. 'I[apos]m going to try [coaching] this season and see how goes. I[apos]m looking forward to it.'
