2016: Ranks 10^th on the UIC all-time leaderboard with 14 wins … went 6-8 with a 5.35 ERA (44 ER/74.0 IP) in 14 starts … ranked fifth in the Horizon League in starts (14) and ninth wins (six) and IP (74.0) … tossed 5.1 IP of no-hit baseball on 5/20 vs. Wright State ... allowed two earned runs or less in eight of 14 starts ... struck out six or more batters five times … matched career-high with 10 strikeouts (twice) on 4/16 vs. Milwaukee (2 ER/7.2 IP) ... held batters to a .237 average … made five quality starts … allowed 7.7 hits per 9.0 IP (63 H) … surrendered five home runs on 2/19 at Texas Southern … allowed four unearned runs in 1.0 IP on 4/12 vs. Northern Illinois, his shortest outing as a starter ... struck out 10 batters and allowed one hit in victory on 3/19 vs. Oakland, carried no-hitter into seventh inning ... averaged 8.3 SO (68 SO/74.0 IP) per 9.0 IP.

First Team All-League selection ... two-time Horizon League Pitcher of the Week ... appeared and started in 14 games ... maintained the best ERA among UIC starters and third best in the league with a 3.31 average and 2.81 mark in conference play alone ... tallied an 8-2 record with an impressive 6-1 mark in the Horizon League ... threw a league-leading four complete games, ranked 22nd nationally ... led the conference in innings pitched (106.0) while he struck out a team-high 66 ... held opponents to a .232 batting average ... across 32.0 innings over four games from 03/14-04/02, he was credited with a mere three earned runs ... struck out a career-high nine batters twice, both times against Valparaiso (03/14, 05/21) ... kept opponents to less than three runs in 10 games ... earned zero runs in a series-clinching victory against Valpo (03/14) where he pitched 8.2 innings and struck out nine, which allowed to garner his first weekly honor ... his second HL accolade of the season came two weeks later after dealing a complete game with just two hits allowed and one earned run in a win against YSU (03/27).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Joined UIC as a sophomore after competing one season at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon ... was the team captain for Mt. Hood and earned first-team All-League as a pitcher ... tallied an ERA of 2.25 with 60 innings pitched and 33 strikeouts ... housed a record of 4-2 and totaled three complete games in nine appearances ... was a three-sport athlete at Heritage High School in Vancouver, Wash. ... played baseball, basketball and football for the Timberwolves ... earned All-State and All-League honors as a pitcher ... named a three-time Scholar Athlete ... son of Heather Clapp and stepdad is Vic Clapp ... currently enrolled as a Criminal, Law, and Justice major.
