2016: Appeared in 17 games with three starts, going 1-3 with a 8.81 ERA (31 ER/31.2 IP) … Tossed a career high 4.0 IP in relief on at Wright State (May 13) ... Made second straight start  vs. Northwestern (May 4) ... Averaged 7.7 strikeouts per 9.0 IP (27 SO/31.2 IP) … Did not allow a hit in seven relief outings … Started on 4/26 at Northern Illinois (7 ER/1.1 IP) ... threw 7.0 scoreless IP in relief from 3/5-4/9 ... nine of his 14 relief appearances were scoreless ... made first career start on 3/22 at Notre Dame, lasting 2.1 IP (8 ER) ... struck out a career-high five batters on 3/16 vs. Roosevelt.
