Eric Bryson joined head coach Steve McClain's staff as a graduate assistant in 2018 following a decorated playing career at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Bryson played for the Warhawks from 2011-14 and he helped the program win NCAA Division III national championships in 2012 and 2014. The two-year captain was named to the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team in 2012 and 2014, while also earning All-WIAC First Team recognition in 2014. Bryson started 94 of 95 games he played at Whitewater and averaged 10.2 points while shooting 50 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from beyond the arc. He also averaged 1.1 steals per game and and was named to the WIAC All-Defensive Team in 2013 and 2014.
Upon graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 2014, Bryson served as an assistant coach at Delevan High School in his home state. From 2016-18, he was on the bench as a varsity assistant at Elkhorn High School. He assisted in day-to-day preparation of team practices, assembled and distributed scouting reports, edited and broke down game film, and more.
Bryson has worked several NCAA Division I basketball camps, including: Florida State, Wisconsin-Madison and UIC.
