2021-22: Named All-League Third Team … Started in 26 games while making 28 total appearances in his first season with the Flames … Led the team in scoring (17.8) and rebounding (6.9) … Scored in double figures in all but two contests during the season … Collected a team-leading four double-doubles on the year … Hauled in a season-high 14 rebounds to go along with 18 points against Detroit Mercy … Scored a season-high 28 points in an overtime victory at Robert Morris, finishing with a 11 made field goals and five made 3-pointers (both matching a season best) … Dished out a season-best six assists on two separate occasions … Finished the year fifth in the conference in scoring average, ninth in rebound average and seventh in blocks per game … His 10 games with 20 or more points were the sixth most in the league while four double-doubles were ninth-most.

Prior to UIC: Spent one season at Tennessee Tech where he appeared in 21 games and made 18 starts…he ranked second on the team in scoring at 13.3 points per game while shooting 43.3 percent from the field…in his first game for Tech, he scored 21 points against Jacksonville State, the most points scored in a player’s debut since 2013…scored a career-high 25 points against Eastern Illinois.

High School: Franklin lettered all four years playing at Niles North High School…during his sophomore, junior and senior year, he earned All-Conference First Team honors…was named Wintrust Bank Player of the Week, earned All-State First Team honors, and helped his team to a Region title during his senior campaign…averaged 15 points per game as a sophomore, 17.5 points per game with 8.2 rebounds as a junior, and 16.7 points per game with 2.6 steals as a senior.
