  • Graduated from Crown Point High School in Crown Point, Ind.
  • Three-star prospect who was ranked among the top 10 players in the Hoosier State, as well as the top 50 power forwards in the country.
  • Helped Crown Point to 84 wins in his prep career.
  • Runner-up for Indiana Mr. Basketball honors in 2025-26.
  • 2025-26 Northwest Indiana (NWI) Times Player of the Year.
  • As a senior (2025-26), averaged 17.4 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists to lead Crown Point to a 25-2 record and a spot in the Indiana Class 4A state championship game.
  • Two-time all-state and all-area selection.
  • Member of 2026 Indiana Senior All-Star Team, averaging 16.5 points in Indiana's two-game sweep of its Kentucky counterparts, including a game-high 24 points (6-7 FG, 4-4 3FG - tying series record for 3-point efficiency) in the first victory in Lexington, Ky. 
  • As a junior (2024-25), averaged 16.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game while leading Crown Point to a 23-3 record and a berth in the Indiana Class 4A semistate final.
  • Named to the core group of the 2025 Indiana Junior All-Star Team, which defeated the Indiana Senior All-Stars (Shaw had 26 points on 8-of-10 shooting, including 5-of-6 three-pointers), as well as the Kentucky Junior All-Stars (16 points, five rebounds, five assists).
  • As a sophomore (2023-24), averaged 13.0 points per game when the Bulldogs reached the semifinals of the Indiana Class 4A semistate round.
  • Standout on the club circuit with Indiana Elite 3SSB (3Stripes Select Basketball) — in summer 2025, he played a key role in Indiana Elite winning the Earn Your Stripes Invitational in Ladera Ranch, Calif., going a perfect 7-0 during the four-day event.
  • For the 2025 club season, averaged 12.9 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while shooting .538 from the field and .362 from three-point range.
  • Scored in double figures 12 times and had a pair of double-doubles, including a 28-point, 14-rebound outing in the Earn Your Stripes semifinal win over D1 Minnesota.
