2020-21: College Sports Madness National High-Major Player of the Week (Dec. 12) ... Appeared in all 22 games and made 18 starts … led the team in scoring (14.2), rebounding (6.8), assists (5.6) and steals (1.0) … Ranked 23^rd in Division I basketball with 5.6 assists per game … Became the third player in program history to record a triple-double with 22 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in a win over Oakland (Dec. 20) … One of 18 players in Division I basketball to record a triple-double in a game this season … Recorded a team-leading six double-doubles on the year … Scored a season-high 31 points against Purdue Fort Wayne (Jan. 8), finishing 13-for-27 from the field … Scored in double figures in all but four games this season, including three games of 20 or more points … Dished out a career-high 14 assists against Valparaiso (Dec. 1) while adding 14 points … His 14 helpers are tied for the sixth most in UIC single-game history and most since Martell Bailey had 15 on Nov. 15, 2003 … Was just 1-of-18 players nationally since the start of the 2010-11 season, and one of three players this year, to finish a game with at least 14 points and 14 assists and one or fewer turnovers … Had three games with 10 or more assists and four games with 10 or more rebounds.

Prior to UIC: Spent his first two years at Ohio University before sitting out last season as a transfer at Colorado State … In his two seasons at Ohio, Kirk started in all 62 games, averaging 14.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 31.3 minutes per game … The 6-foot-4 guard scored in double figures in 27-of-31 games as a sophomore, including three games of 20 or more points … As a freshman in 2017-18, Kirk was named to the All-MAC Freshman Team after leading the team and ranking 12th in the conference in scoring (15.3 ppg), scoring 10+ points 28 times.
 
High School: Attended Joliet West where he guided the Tigers to a 24-6 record and a second-straight appearance in the IHSA Class 4A sectional title game as a senior … During his final season, Kirk averaged 19.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 steals per game, earning Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Class 3A/4A Second Team All-State honors, Associated Press Honorable Mention All-State and Southwest Prairie Conference Most Valuable Player awards.
