Appeared in four matches...made his season debut against Green Bay, and played in every match the rest of the regular season...had a season best 50 minutes against the Phoenix...recorded the first assist of his career against Robert Morris...had one shot on the season, which went on goal, against Northern Kentucky...totaled 115 minutes.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2019): Game-by-Game Statistics Appeared in five matches...had a career high 34 minutes in the season opener against Dayton...logged double-digit minutes in all five of his appearances...totaled 99 minutes on the season...played in three of the first four matches of the year...had 27 minutes against IUPUI...did not attempt a shot.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2018): Game-by-Game Statistics Made two appearances...saw his first action as a Flame against IUPUI...logged nine minutes against the Jaguars...also was on the pitch for five minutes against Northern Kentucky...did not attempt a shot.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Did not appear in any games, preserving four years of eligibility.

PREP/PERSONAL: Gorniak joined the Flames after a stellar high school campaign where he scored 12 goals while assisting on 8 others during his senior year for St. Charles North, leading them to Sectionals and earning All-Conference in the process.  On the club side, after playing in the USSDA for the Chicago Fire, Gorniak will play for Campton United, who are currently ranked as the top team in Illinois and the #3 team in the Region according to gotsoccer's rankings.  He is a volunteer for Special Olympics.  Gorniak plans on majoring in Accounting.
