…entered the starting lineup in the Flames’ eighth game of the season, and started and played every minute of each subsequent game…scored the team’s lone goal in the NCAA first round match with Wisconsin…tallied three goals on the season, including the game-winner against Bradley…attempted 10 shots, half of which went on goal…became an important part of the Flames’ back line, contributing to hold opponents to a 0.7 goals per game average (0.57 in conference play) in games that he played.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016 at Loyola): Did not see game action with the Ramblers.

PREP/PERSONAL: Jacob transferred to UIC after spending one year across town at Loyola...All-State selection by the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA)... an ESMARK All-American honoree under the direction of coach Sean Wesley at Benet Academy...IMG Top 150 rated player...Excelled on the club level for the Chicago Fire Academy...served as captain of the club U16 side before earning an Honorable Mention selection to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's (USSDA) U18 All-Tournament team after starting as a member of the defensive unit when the club captured a USSDA National Championship.
