AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2019): Game-by-Game Statistics All-North Region Second Team...Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year...All-Horizon League First Team...Horizon League All-Tournament Team...USC Scholar All-Region...USC Scholar All-American Second Team Started all 18 matches...led field players with 1,683 minutes...was on the bench for only 16 minutes all year...went the distance in 16 matches...team captain who anchored the back line...had two goals and an assist...recorded an assist against Valparaiso...scored the game-winning goal against Green Bay...found the back of the net for the game-tying goal with just 23 seconds remaining against Detroit Mercy...physical defender often sacrificed his body to make plays in the defensive third...graduated from UIC on time with his class in the spring of 2020.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2018): Game-by-Game Statistics Horizon League Tournament MVP...Horizon League All-Tournament Team...All-Horizon League Second Team Played in 19 games, all of which were starts...went the distance in 16 contests...assisted on the lone goal in UIC's 1-0 win over Western Michigan...scored a goal against Milwaukee...netted the game-winning goal against Northern Kentucky...named to the Top Drawer Team of the Week after wins over Western Michigan and Oakland...valuable member of a back line that limited opponents to 0 or 1 goal in 13 matches...earned tournament MVP honors and a spot on the All-Tournament Team, as well as the College Soccer News Team of the Week, after helping hold IUPUI and Wright State to one goal each.

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2017): Game-by-Game Statistics
2017 Horizon League All-Freshman Team…entered the starting lineup in the Flames’ eighth game of the season, and started and played every minute of each subsequent game…scored the team’s lone goal in the NCAA first round match with Wisconsin…tallied three goals on the season, including the game-winner against Bradley…attempted 10 shots, half of which went on goal…became an important part of the Flames’ back line, contributing to hold opponents to a 0.7 goals per game average (0.57 in conference play) in games that he played.

AS A FRESHMAN (2016 at Loyola): Did not see game action with the Ramblers.

PREP/PERSONAL: Jacob transferred to UIC after spending one year across town at Loyola...All-State selection by the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association (IHSSCA)... an ESMARK All-American honoree under the direction of coach Sean Wesley at Benet Academy...IMG Top 150 rated player...Excelled on the club level for the Chicago Fire Academy...served as captain of the club U16 side before earning an Honorable Mention selection to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy's (USSDA) U18 All-Tournament team after starting as a member of the defensive unit when the club captured a USSDA National Championship.
