AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR (2019): Game-by-Game Statistics Appeared in one match...started the season opener against Dayton and played 74 minutes...did not attempt a shot...was projected to be part of the rotation on the back line until injuries curtailed his season.

AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2018): Game-by-Game Statistics Played six games and started once...got the start in the season opener against Campbell...took his only shot of the season, which went on goal, in that match...saw action in four Horizon League matches as well as the non-conference tilt against Charlotte...was on the pitch for a season high 60 minutes against Campbell...set a conference season high with 31 minutes against Detroit Mercy...logged 159 minutes on the season, with 66 in conference action.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2017): Game-by-Game Statistics
Played in 18 games, including the last 14 of the season, and started 15…had three assists…eight of his 15 shots went on goal…took a season high four shots against Eastern Illinois…had two assists against IUPUI…also took two shots in that game…his other assist came against Bradley…did not come off the pitch for 10 straight games through the Horizon League championship…played 71 minutes in the NCAA tournament match against Wisconsin.

PREP/PERSONAL: Lyes Ghezali linked up with his new teammates in 2017 after spending the last four seasons playing with the Chicago Fire Academy (2015-2017) and Chicago Magic (2013-2015).  The strong center-back won multiple trophies – including the USYS National Championship – while playing for the Chicago Magic, and since then he has led both of his USSDA teams to the USSDA Playoffs in each of the last three seasons.  The versatile Ghezali was on his high school's swimming and track teams in addition to playing soccer.  He plans on majoring in Accounting.
