AS A SUPER SENIOR (2022): Game-by-Game Statistics Took advantage of an extra year of eligibility, granted due to Covid-19, to play a fifth year with the Flames...played all 16 games, and made 12 starts...brought experience and leadership to the team's back line...played the full 90 minutes seven times...contributed to five shutouts...had two additional games in which the defense allowed only one goal...took five shots...totaled 1,029 minutes.
AS A REDSHIRT SENIOR (2021): Game-by-Game Statistics Appeared in 17 matches, with 13 starts...played every minute of nine matches, including the last six of the season...totaled 1,223 minutes, good for sixth on the team...played a key role on the back line...contributed to five shutouts, including in the last two games of the regular season...did not attempt a shot.
AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2020): Game-by-Game Statistics Appeared in seven matches, all of which were starts...returned from injury for the IUPUI match and started every match the rest of the season...had one assist, which came against IUPUI...had four shots on the campaign, three of which went on goal...played the full 90 minutes in three matches, and had over 80 minutes in two others...provided veteran leadership on the back line...contributed to three straight shutouts.
AS A JUNIOR (2019): Did not see any game action.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2018): Game-by-Game Statistics Had 10 appearances, making nine starts...had one assist on the season...started the first eight matches of the season and helped UIC get off to a 6-2 start...contributed to back-to-back shutouts against DePaul and IUPUI, and added an assist against the Jaguars...named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week after those games...also placed on the Top Drawer Team of the Week...played the final 65 minutes of the 2OT draw with IUPUI in the Horizon League semifinals...totaled 688 minutes.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Game-by-Game Statistics
Played in six games with five starts early in the season…managed one shot…logged 433 minutes.
PREP/PERSONAL:Â Cerritos captained Mount Carmel's soccer team to their best season in history, as the Caravan finished up in 2
nd place after losing the IHSA 2A State Championship in double-overtime. After starting every match and captaining the Chicago Fire's U16 Development Academy team to the USSDA Final Four in the summer of 2016, Manny moved to FC United this season. His U18 team are the defending IYSA State Champions and are currently amongst the top teams in the USYS National League after going unbeaten in their first round of matches this winter.  Cerritos earned the Leadership Award and was named captain and Best Defender with his club team.
