AS A SENIOR (2018): Game-by-Game Statistics All-Horizon League Second Team...USC All-North Region Third Team Played every minute of the season in goal...accumulated a 12-6-2 record...had six shutouts, including three in a four-match stretch...conceded only one goal in six other matches...allowed just one goal in two matches to lead UIC to the SMU Tournament championship to begin the season...bookended the campaign by allowing one goal each to IUPUI and Wright State in the Horizon League Tournament...made a season high nine saves in a shutout of Detroit Mercy...had seven saves on two other occasions...was the only Horizon League keeper to keep the powerful Northern Kentucky offense off the scoreboard...shut out Western Michigan and defeated then-nationally ranked Oakland in consecutive matches, earning a spot on College Soccer News' Team of the Week...named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week twice...led the conference with three shutouts in league play...second in the Horizon League with 34 saves against conference opponents...had 71 saves on the season (3.5 per game) and a .740 save percentage...despite playing just two seasons at UIC, finished his career fifth in program history with 11 shutouts, fifth with 22 wins, and fifth with a 1.17 goals-against average...his 12 wins were good for fourth-best in a season in UIC history.

 on Sept. 19...played in 11 games, all starts, compiling a 9-1-1 record...posted two shutouts...stopped a season high six shots in a 3-1 win over UCF...saved all four shots he faced and logged an assist in a shutout of UNCW...strong play in goal sparked FGCU to the Atlantic Sun championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament, where the Eagles earned a first round win...totaled 1010 minutes with a 1.51 goals-against average, making 44 saves at a .721 clip.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015 at Florida Gulf Coast):Â Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Week
 on Sept. 28 âĤ played in three games and made two starts while future professional Nathan Ingham was out with a concussion âĤ came on midway through the contest versus Princeton (Sept. 10) âĤ made five saves at USF (Sept. 19) âĤ stopped seven shots at Brown (Sept. 25) to win his first career game, 2-1 âĤ the seven saves were tied for the 8th-most in single-game program history âĤ he made four saves in the final 30 minutes, and the only goal he allowed was a penalty kick in the 82nd minute âĤ the seven saves were tied for the 2nd-most in program history by a freshman (Adam Glick, 2007) âĤ finished with a 1.63 goals-against average in 221:28 minutes of action, making 12 saves and holding a .750 save percentage.
PREP/PERSONAL: Sawyer transferred to UIC in 2016 after spending two seasons at Florida Gulf Coast University. The St. Charles native was 11-2-1 over his two seasons in Ft. Myers, Florida - including a 9-1-1 record in goal during the 2016 season â helping the Eagles to the 2
nd Round of the NCAA Tournament. Prior to beginning his collegiate career, Jackman was club teammates with current UIC players Oscar Gonzalez, Mike Jimenez and Cristian Sanchez, helping the Chicago Fire Academy capture the 2015 USSDA U18 National Championship under Larry Sunderland and assisted by Gonzalo Segares, Stan Anderson and current UIC assistant Minos Vlamakis.
