Biography

2024 (Graduate):
  • Selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Midwest Region First Team.
  • Selected to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete- First Team and the College Sports Communicator’s (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
  • Played in all 54 games, starting in 51 games, while splitting time between pitching and as the designated player.
  • Made 32 appearances, starting 25 games in the circle. She was second in the circle in innings pitched (111.2), wins (five) and strikeouts (64).
  • Led the team in home runs (four), RBI (23), was second in hits (45), and fifth on the team in batting average (.259).
  • Won back-to-back games in the Circle against Colgate and Lafayette at the T-Mobile Tournament Feb 23-24.
  • She also went 4-for-4 in the 7-6 win against Lafayette, with a home run and three RBI.
  • Hit a walk-off single to score two to lead UIC back from a four-run deficit to defeat Illinois State on April 5.
  • Took two separate no-hitters into the late innings in the circle against Valparaiso.

2023 (Senior):
  • Started 32 games as a designated player.
  • Made 27 appearances and 12 starts pitching for the Flames.
  • Second on the team in homeruns (two) and doubles (five).
  • Went one-for-two against #10 Clemson on Feb. 24.
  • Recorded a hit against #4 Tennessee on Feb. 25.
  • Smacked a double against South Florida to earn two RBI Feb. 25.
  • Also struck out four Bulls batters in 5.1 innings pitched.
  • Earned a hit in both games against Kentucky on Mar. 4-5.
  • Hit her first homerun of the season against #16 Northwestern on Mar. 21.
  • Her second homerun came in a three-for-three game against Illinois State on Apr. 2.
  • Struck-out a season high six batters against UNI on Mar. 24.
  • Earned a win after 2.0 innings of relief work against Drake on May 7.

Junior (2022):
  •  Made 25 appearances in the circle with 13 starts.
  •  Added 19 starts in the batting lineup and 22 appearances.
  • She threw 91.1 innings and tallied seven complete games.
  • Led staff with six wins as a pitcher and had the team-best 3.28 ERA in 60.1 innings against conference opponents.
  •  Limited Horizon League hitters to .260 batting average and owned 2.2 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 14 conference games.
  • She allowed three earned runs or fewer in 21 of 25 appearances.
  • Batted .293 and slugged .483 overall and was tied for second on the team with 15 RBIs.
  • 10 of the 15 RBIs came in conference play. She led team with five multi-RBI performances.
  • She had five multi-hit games and produced seven extra-base hits on season.
  • She threw second complete game shutout and struck out five in season finale against IUPUI on May 8.
  • Hit her first collegiate home run at Northwestern on April 26.
  • She allowed one run on one hit in complete game, while driving in two runs at the plate in victory during first game of doubleheader at Detroit Mercy on April 23.
  •  Collected career-high three hits and added three RBI with 2.2 scoreless innings of relief in second game of doubleheader against Titans.
  •  Threw complete game, doubled, and posted career-high four RBI to hand regular season champion Oakland its first loss in conference play on April 15.
  •  She fired off back-to-back complete games against Green Bay on Apr. 9-10.  ...
  • She tripled at the plate in both games and fanned career high seven against Phoenix on Apr. 10.
  • She did not allow an earned run and struck out three in victory on Apr. 9
  • She picked up first hit at the plate against BYU on Feb. 18.
  •  Earned first victory in UIC uniform with complete game shutout against Cal Poly on Feb. 11.
Prior to UIC:
  • Played two seasons at Southern Illinois.
  • Pitched 105.2 innings in two seasons with the Salukis. She collected 43 strikeouts and maintained a 2.72 ERA. 
  • Appeared in 27 games with 24 games coming from within the circle in 2022. She went 6-2 in 69.1 inning pitched, with the sixth-best ERA (2.42) in the Missouri Valley Conference. Also didn't allow more than three walks in her 24 appearances.
High School/ Personal: 
  • Majoring in Psychology.
  • Four-time All-State honoree.
  • As a senior, led St. Francis to its first-ever IHSA state title game appearance.
  • She threw a three-hit, complete game shutout to lead St. Francis to its first regional title since 2005.
  • As a junior hit .506 with 12 home runs and 49 runs batted in and posted a 1.28 earned run average with 108 strikeouts over 71 innings of work in the circle.
  • As a sophomore, earned All-State First Team honors after she hit .380 with 14 home runs and 45 runs batted in to go along with a 14-1 record in the circle and a 1.01 earned run average.
  • Played travel ball for Illinois Chill ...and helped Illinois Chill Gold 16U take fifth at the prestigious Boulder IDT, which was the best finish of any Midwest program.
  • Daughter of Jeff and Lorrye Clark.
  • Has a brother Jeffrey and a sister Kilye.
