2024 (Redshirt Freshman):

Played in 28 games, starting 17 games at shortstop.
Batted .305 with 18 hits and 10 RBI in 56 plate appearances.
Earned her first hit of the season with a pinch-hitting single in UIC’s 4-3 win over North Dakota on March 1.
In her first start of the season, went 2-for-3 with an RBI in the 4-1 win over Valparaiso on April 10.
Crushed a two-RBI single in UIC’s 6-3 win against Indiana State on April 13.
Collected a hit in 16 of the final 19 games.

2023 (Freshman):

Appeared in 10 games and started in seven of them before her season was cut short due to injury.
Earned her first collegiate hit in her debut against North Texas on Feb. 10.
Had her first multi-hit game against Saint Francis on Feb. 10, going two-for-three with a stolen base.
Went two-for-three against Seattle on Feb. 17 with a double and two RBI.

High School/ Personal:

Four-year letterwinner in high school
Helped Nazareth Academy to IHSA Regional championships in 2019 and 2020 and Taft High School to a Regional title in 2022.
Clubbed most home runs in Illinois in 2022 and named All-State Second Team.
Collected team MVP honors and the Eagle Award at Taft.
Named All-State Third Team as a freshman playing varsity at Nazareth in 2019.
Switched to softball at 14 years old after playing baseball for many years.
Also played basketball and volleyball in high school.
Daughter of Elena Olivos and Daniel Casas.
Father, Daniel, played basketball at Kendall College and professionally in Mexico.
Majoring in Psychology at UIC.
