Antony Partee is in his first season as the Flames' men's basketball operations assistant and video coordinator.

Partee returns to UIC after working in various capacities on the campus while working toward a master's degree in urban planning and policy at the University from 2000-03.

From 2006 until 2009 Partee served as an assistant women's basketball coach and head junior varsity coach at Robert Morris University in Chicago. There he helped the Eagles make their first-ever NAIA national tournament appearance in 2008 and recruited and coached 2008 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year Jerita Gordon.

Partee developed his film and operations experience while at Robert Morris and while serving as a scouting coach for the WNBA's Washington Mystics from 2006 until 2007. He scouted WNBA teams and prepared reports on opposing clubs for the Mystics.

From 2003-05 Partee served as an assistant varsity coach and head freshman coach for the boys basketball teams of his high school alma mater, Northridge Prep in Niles, Ill. In 2006 he moved on to Dominican University in River Grove, Ill. as an assistant women's basketball coach.

Partee first came to UIC in 2000 to begin graduate school work. He became the coordinator of campus programs for UIC in 2001 and continues to serve in that capacity. Partee also served as a commentator for UIC women's basketball games for UIC Radio.

Partee's hardwood experience includes playing for the men's basketball team at Benedictine University in Lisle from 1996-97 and the Northridge Prep boys basketball team from 1993-96.

He is a member of the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association, Black Coaches Association and Women's Basketball Coaches Association.

A 2000 graduate of Benedictine with a bachelor's in business administration, Partee resides in Forest Park.
