Adams joined the Flames in August of 2019 after spending the last five years in Queens, NY, in various roles for within the St. John's women's basketball program. His last two seasons were spent as a graduate assistant for the Red Storm, assisting the director of operations and coaching staff with travel planning, scouting materials, compliance, practice planning, and scheduling academic advisement for student-athletes.
Prior to his role as graduate assistant, Adams served as the assistant to the head coach throughout St. John's 2016 Big East Conference Championship season. As a mentee under the head coach, Adams assisted in day-to-day operations, designed marketing plans for future recruits, collaborated with the graduate assistants on various projects and generated a statistical analysis for every practice.
Adams got his start with the Red Storm as head manager for the team, organizing practice facilities, delegating tasks and supervising other student managers, while also serving as the liaison and official contact for visiting teams. Adams also conducted basketball clinics for groups of 500-plus during his days as head manager, ensuring that all attendees left with the fundamental skills of playing basketball.
The Queens, NY native also spent three seasons (2016-19) with the New York Knicks/New York Liberty Basketball Team as part of its marketing event and fan development staff. There he took on the role of head coach and lead instructor for the teams' summer camps, represented both organizations at community-based events as a brand ambassador and helped the organization create a diverse and enjoyable environment for its New York fan base.
Adams received a bachelor's degree in sport management from St. John's in May of 2016 as a member of the Dean's List and went on to receive his master's degree in executive management from St. John's in May of 2019, graduating Cum Laude.
