Prior to UIC

Played one season at Florida Southwestern in Cypress Lakes, Fla.
Played and started all 31 games, averaging 19 points per game. She was proficient in her shot selection, averaging 41% from the field and 36% from beyond the arc. She was second on the team from the charity stripe, compiling an 80.6% free throw percentage, sinking 100 free throws throughout the season.
Serrano contributed to the Buccaneer’s finishing with a 25-6 overall record, going 17-1 against opponents in the Citrus Conference enroute to a conference title. Florida Southwestern made another push in the 2025 National Junior College Athletic Association National Tournament Appearance, making it to the Sweet 16 for just the second time in program history.
Serrano became the third member in program history to have reached 500 career points in a single season, and the second member to have dawn the Florida Southwestern uniform to hit over 80 three-pointers, collecting 81 triples.
She was selected as a member of the Third Team NJCAA All-American and as the 2025 Citrus Conference Player of the Year.
During her high school career at the Academy of Holy Angels out of Demarest, N.J. She finished as a four-time All-Conference and All-State pick. In her senior season, Serrano surpassed the 1,000-career point threshold, averaging 26 points and seven rebounds per game.
